Risk Assessment Module

AssessNET’s comprehensive Risk Assessment Module is designed to help you assess a wide range of work activities, using a step-by-step method developed by our vastly experienced consultants. The module simply guides you through the risk assessment process in 3 easy stages. Your progress is automatically saved by AssessNET at the end of each stage, so if you ever have to leave your desk after completing part of the assessment you can rest assured that you won’t have to start from scratch!

The Risk Assessment module has a fantastic time saving tool known as “Controls Assistant” which recognises the type of hazard in question and suggests control measures that are commonly used for that hazard. This is a great way of checking against potential control measures you may have missed, and it’s also possible to add these control measures to your assessment at the click of a button.

Once you have assessed the hazards, and identified the control measures that need to be put in place to reduce or eliminate risk, you can assign these actions to other AssessNET users in your organisation for completion. Actions are displayed within that user’s Task Manager screen, and progress of the implementation of these control measures is displayed in real time on the Risk Assessment report.

The Risk Assessment module has the facility to attach photographs and other documents (such as Systems Of Work) directly to the report, allowing you to clearly define the risk through imagery, or specify what systems you already have in place without manually typing them into the assessment.
